Howard Stern Puts Simon Cowell on Blast Over His Treatment of Gabrielle Union & AGT Fiasco

Howard Stern is the latest Hollywood celeb who has spoken out in support of Gabrielle Union, ever since the news of her being fired from America’s Got Talent came to the fore.

But the interviewer and host has gone ahead to put the show’s creator and co-judge, Simon Cowell in line – over his negligence and treatment of the whole issue.

Speaking about the whole fiasco on his SiriusXM radio show, here’s an excerpt of what he had to say:

“How is it that Simon Cowell has orchestrated this? He sets it up that the men stay, no matter how ugly they are, no matter how old they are, no matter how fat they are, no matter how talentless they are.”

Stern later continued to say that it has been ‘obvious’ how the whole show is orchestrated to switch their female judges for “hotter chicks and younger chicks.”

Howard had himself served as a co-judge on the show, so he has to be speaking from first-hand experience.

Gabrielle Union was reportedly fired from the show after speaking out against racism. A close source of the show had also pointed out similar issues previously, highlighting how females and colored folks are fired at the whim of Cowell.

It would be interesting to see how seriously NBC takes this whole issue and how Simon responds to it.
