As was previously reported, Mathew Knowles is here with some unreleased music from the pre-Destiny’s Child, girl group – Girls Tyme, which featured a very young Beyonce and Kelly Rowland, back in the day.
The Knowles patriarch, who previously served as the manager for both the groups has unveiled some never-before-released music from the girl group, accompanied with a book – telling all the behind-the-scenes titbits.
Girls Tyme was formed in the early 90’s and was basically a pre-teens version of DC, featuring members – Beyonce, LaTavia Roberson, Kelly Rowland, Tamar Davis and Nina Taylor. They were often seen competing in TV talent-hunt shows, before eventually transforming into Destiny’s Child.
15 tracks have been released by Mathew, straight out of the vaults and they are now available for streaming.
