Cats trailer may have initially “frightened” a vast majority of netizens – making them wonder if a CGI-heavy take the classic tale was needed at all, it still has us intrigued to a great degree to just see how the vastly talented ensemble behind it, pulls it off.
The film sees the likes of Judi Dench, Jason Derulo, Idris Elba, Ian McKellen, Taylor Swift and Jennifer Hudson, among others, attempting to bring to life, the iconic characters, for the first major big-screen adaptation of the award-winning on-stage musical.
Ahead of this week’s launch of the film across theaters worldwide, the most iconic tune from the play – ‘Memory’ has finally been unveiled.
Deemed as the signature tune of the musical and performed by the character – Grizabella, the movie’s version sees Oscar-winner, Jennifer Hudson putting her chops to work for an impassioned delivery of the classic.
