Whitney Houston Earns 25th Adult Contemporary Hit With “NEW” Pentatonix Duet!

Mariah Carey is not the only diva who’s setting the charts on fire with her holiday music.

Late music icon, Whitney Houston too is spotted climbing atop Billboard charts with her previously recorded and recently ‘revamped’ version of the holiday classic – ‘Do You Hear What I Hear?.’

Previously released in the year 1987, and re-released as a duet with a capella group Pentatonix, on their recent Christmas album – the song has ascended to the Top 10 of Billboard’s Adult Contemporary Radio Airplay charts – marking the 25th entry by Houston on the charts and her first since the year 2003.

The song had peaked at #15 in the previous week, but as Christmas comes closer – it has bested its previous spot by now peaking at #9, earning the diva her second posthumous hit of 2019, after Kygo’s remixed version of ‘Higher Love.’

Her last Top 10 hit on the chart was ‘Try It On My Own’ which peaked at #10, nearly 16 years ago, in May, 2013.
