The Weeknd has made a grand entry into the charts with his ‘comeback’ single.
The singer and performer unveiled two brand new singles – ‘Heartless’ and ‘Blinding Lights’ ahead of the release of his fourth studio album, Chapter VI – set to hit the shelves in 2020.
The song had peaked inside the Top 40 in its debut weak and swung to #1 in the second week of its release, marking his fourth #1 track on the charts.
The singer also performed the track on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert and that certainly added-up to spreading the word out there. Besides, people had been craving for some Weeknd music anyway…
