Taking beauty procedures to the absolute extreme, a woman has increased the size of her lips by four times of what they originally were – and she isn’t quite done with ‘enhancing’ them even now.
22 year old Andrea Ivanova, from Bulgaria seems to be the latest victim of the ‘polluted’ beauty standards in mainstream culture, that are being forced down the throats of young minds. She has so far put herself through 17 lip-injections to make them bigger, and bigger.
Ivanova isn’t quite done yet, as she now plans to undergo another procedure to enhance the size even further – possibly prior to the end of 2019.
Here’s what she was quoted as telling about her obsession with this supposed beauty trend:
“I like my lips now more than before. I feel very good and very happy with my new lips, because according to me with bigger lips I look prettier. I have visited almost all clinics for aesthetic procedures in Sofia and I put in my lips almost all kinds of lips fillers.
I didn’t count the money for these procedures. I don’t know exactly how much money have I spent on my lips.”
We’re going to call it like is, without sugar-coating it – Yet another case of deluded “beauty” standard, influenced by what is being fed into popular culture.
A tragedy, really.
