Coronavirus is now getting it’s hooks on the rich and powerful as well, as Hollywood elites Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson have just tested positive for the deadly disease.
As the epidemic continues to rise world-over, the duo got themselves tested for the disease after feeling ‘a bit tired’ while shooting in Australia, and turns out they’re both tested positive for the virus.
Here’s what the Oscar winning actor announced on his Twitter handle:
“Hey folks Rita and I are down here in Australia. We felt a bit tired, like we had colds, and some body aches. Rita had some chills that came and went. Slight fevers too. To play things right, as is needed in the world right now, we were tested for the coronavirus, and were found to be positive.”
He further stated that as per standard protocols the two of them will also be “observed and isolated”, keeping in mind safety measures.
