In case you were wondering if the world was pretty much done with being stupid after facing the reality of this unprecedented pandemic, you’d be wrong.
And to prove it, we have a statement coming from White House adviser Stephen Moore.
Earlier this week, Moore was quoted comparing the COVID-19 protesters to civil rights icon and champion, the late – Rosa Parks.
To the unfamiliar, these protesters are out on the roads to reject the administration’s idea of a nationwide lockdown – which was initiated, as a standard universal medical protocol, to curb further spread of coronavirus.
And here’s how Moore summed-up the protesters while speaking to Washington Post:
“I call these people modern-day Rosa Parks,” he told the publication. “They are protesting against injustice and a loss of liberties.”
No clarification from his side yet, on the nonsensical comparison.
