Taylor Swift Ties Whitney Houston’s Record Of Most Weeks Spent At #1 Among Females

Taylor Swift continues to break records, with her new releases every single time.

The singer-songwriter, who recently released her 8th studio album – Folklore, has registered herself in the history books, with yet another record.

The ‘Bad Blood’ hitmaker has now spent a career total of 46 weeks on top of Billboard’s Top 200 Albums charts, tying with none other than the late and great Whitney Houston.

Houston – who was herself a record-shattering juggernaut, had delivered several #1’s in her career, the cumulative tally of which has now been broken, nearly 11 years since the late legend’s last #1 LP – ‘I Look To You’, which came out in the year 2009.

Swift has achieved the feat with 8 of her studio LP’s, while Ms. Houston had done the same with only 4 of her releases.

Nevertheless, Swift’s record is worth celebrating for her fans, especially because of how legendary Whitney Houston’s achievements have been in popular music over the years. The singer had previously broken another one of Whitney’s record of – ‘Most American Music Awards won by a female’, back in 2018.

No bad blood here!
