Who’s the better singer between Mariah Carey and Ariana Grande?
The question has popped up a lot ever since Grande made her whistling debut in the music biz in 2011, with a voice – that soon drew comparisons with the ‘Emotions’ hitmaker.
Carey on the other hand has been in the business for over 30 years and has established herself as a chart-smashing, Billboard-favorite diva, for her illustrious catalog, filled with worldwide smash hits.
Grande has a youthful sound to her voice and is able to produce notes in the soprano range, with astonishing ease and projection, with a half-smirk on her face – as if she’s not even trying. Topped with her whistle register, the singer has often been compared and contrasted with Carey, as far as their vocals are concerned.
But between the fans of 90’s and the present day music scene – who would you consider an overall better singer?
