Jazmine Sullivan’s latest project ‘Heaux Tales’ has done considerably well for an EP.
The talented singer and powerhouse performer’s latest offering has been appreciated by fans and critics alike.
But the 33 year old was apparently doubtful about the project’s response prior to it’s release.
During a recent podcast on Sonos’ Object Of Sound, here’s what the singer was quoted saying on the bop-filled release:
“I didn’t know how people would respond to this project, so it did scare me a little bit.”
She further added:
“People don’t really necessarily want to hear all the interludes. But I felt like these were special. They felt important to the project as a whole.”
This was no doubt one dope project.
Can’t wait for full-fledged album from this much underrated performer.
