Taylor Swift Has Re-recorded Hit Song ‘Love Story’ After Scooter Braun Drama [Listen Here]

Remember how Taylor Swift pledged that she’d be re-recording her entire catalog, after her former manager-turned-foe Scooter Braun made her realize that she doesn’t have rights to her own masters?

Braun had apparently sold her recordings to an investment fund, which made Taylor rethink all her contractual decisions and brought a new discussion on the table in music biz.

Swift has now gone ahead and released her own new version of one of her first hits – ‘Love Story’, in a bid to have something she has complete rights to. And perhaps something that doesn’t require her to share the royalties of her own work with others.

The ‘new’ version (namely “Taylor’s Version”) of this hit love-ballad is now available across streaming platforms and it.

Why does it sound even better than the original?

Perhaps it shows Taylor’s growth as a musician over the years. Nevertheless, fans of Ms. Swift have ample reason to rejoice as they get to have an alternate version of this hit in-hand.
