Whitney Houston Was Troubled By The ‘Gay Part Of Her Life’, Says Rosie O’Donnell

It has been more than 9 years since the passing of one of music’s all-time greats – Whitney Houston, but the subject of her personal life and choices still continues to be on the table.

Now, former talk-show host and television personality Rosie O’Donnell has made a comment about the late legend’s sexuality and how she was troubled by that part of her life.

The analogy was presented by Rosie, during her appearance on “Hot Takes & Deep Dives” podcast this past Monday.

It was when Rosie was quizzed on the subject of Houston’s relationship with her long-time confidante and close friend, Robyn Crawford, she said the following:

“Whitney was troubled by, I think, the gay part of her life and didn’t want it exposed. It’s hard in Black culture to accept gayness. It’s culturally more difficult,” Rosie said before continuing “I think that there was a lot of conflict about that.”

It isn’t the first time, Rosie has commented on Houston’s “alleged” homosexuality. Back in 2017, she also made some remarks pertaining to the same, which were criticized by a lot of the singer’s fans – as the latter always denied being gay.

It is also troubling to try and out someone without their consent, especially when they’re not here to speak for themselves – which is drawing a lot of criticism towards Rosie.

Wonder what the diva’s family has to say about that…
