Godmother of Soul Patti LaBelle can still take you to church with her fierce, inspiring vocals.
The 77 year old diva gave a soulful surprise to her fans this Christmas, belting out a Holiday classic, like only she can.
Joined by RnB star Tamar Braxton, Miss LaBelle recently sang her heart out for TV One’s special – ‘Patti Labelle’s Holiday Party’, and delivered a stunning rendition of ‘Silent Night.’
The two ladies, accompanied by just a piano, also sang the icon’s ‘You Are My Friend’ – all while they also indulged into Patti’s famous mac & cheese in the kitchen, for the special.
