Michael Jackson is one of those instrumental figures in Pop music, who has often been used as a template to compare superstars of each generations with.
The latest in line of that comparison is Canadian rapper, Drake.
The ‘Hotline Bling’ star has been called ‘the Michael Jackson of Hip-Hop’ by fellow MC – The Game.
Here’s what he was quoted saying during an interview with Power 106:
“There’s only one artist alive that has more No. 1 albums than me. I think Drake has 10 and his last effort [‘Dark Lane Demo Tapes’] was 11.”
“Drake is amazing. He’s like the Michael Jackson of hip-hop. There’s no writer, there’s no artist like Drake. He different. Everything Drake does is amazing.”
The Game says Drake is the “Michael Jackson of Hip-Hop” & speaks on possible #Verzuz battle with 50 Cent! 👀🤔💯

Interseting.
Drake no doubt has had remarkable success in the charts, in recent years. Everything he has released recently has managed to sell like hotcakes, so is the complement apt?
