Apparently the Academy was so impressed with Jimmy Kimmel’s whole gig at the 2017 Oscars, that within a few months of this year’s ceremony he has already been booked for next year’s show.
Yes! Jimmy Kimmel will be back to host the Oscars again.

It’s quite a big deal to host back to back ceremonies at the Oscars for any presenter – but especially considering the fact that the Academy awards turns 90 next year, we might be in for some greater surprises.
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences made the announcement on their social media outlets stating, “No one can throw a party 90 years in the making like @JimmyKimmel and producers Michael De Luca & Jennifer Todd! Welcome back! #Oscars90”
