Breana Harmon was close to destroying the lives of three men, but it all took a turn for the better.
The 19 year old had falsely accused the three unnamed men of kidnapping her, while later also alleging that two of them had raped her as the third one kept a watch.
It was later discovered, that the wounds and cuts were inflicted on the teenager by herself – after a few things from her past had starting “taking over her head” – as she told the cops. Harmon, who was too afraid to tell her mother about cutting herself up with a knife, made the story up – framing the three black men.
In her initial allegation, Breana had claimed of being taken to nearby woods – where she accused the three men of sexually assaulting her and also threatening her to sexually abuse her again – if she happens to tell anyone.
Later, when a nurse did not find any evidence of any such sexual assault, Harmon admitted to her false allegations to the authorities.
Harmon could get up to 10 years in prison for not only her false allegations, but also tampering with evidence and government record.
District Attorney Joe Brown said in a statement:
“The more we have looked at what happened in this case, and considered the harm it caused, and certainly could have caused, we believe what she did, fits these higher charges. What she did was very serious, and we believe it was felony conduct.”
