Harvey Weinstein may soon be facing his well-overdue karma.
The former industry mogul, who was once considered one of the most powerful men in Hollywood, has just been sentenced to 23 years in prison in the charges levied on him for his past misconduct.
Harvey – who was the prime face behind the commencement of the entire #metoo movement in showbiz, with dozens of women speaking out about their horrifying experiences with him, has been held accountable for rape and sexual misconduct, which finally led to his sentencing on March 11th.
Harvey was charged with third-degree rape of former aspiring-actress Jessica Mann and criminal sexual act against Mimi Haley.
The 67 year old’s lawyers now assert that they will challenge the conviction, as he himself continues to remain in denial of all the accusations.
