Chris Rock recently made an insensitive ‘drug joke’ on the late Whitney Houston, which did not go down well with the legend’s online fan-following, who immediately called him out on the same.
In a ‘now deleted’ post on Instagram, Chris captioned an old snap of Houston with – ‘Hurry up I got crack to smoke’
After a series of replies from fans, calling his “joke” – ‘tasteless’ and ‘cheap’, Houston’s former husband, Bobby Brown came to her defense, putting the comedian and actor to his place.
‘I thought you was a friend of the family’ – he wrote on the first comment. Continuing with, ‘During this time of women empowerment you chose to use your time to try and humiliate our QUEEN!!!’
Brown then showed his anger in the next comments, swearing to ‘smack every tooth out of Rock’s mouth.’
‘When I see you on the site I’m am going to smack. Every tooth out of your mouth,’ he wrote. ‘I thought she was a friend to [my] family but when I see you I’m a bust your ass.’
Rock’s post now stands deleted after all the drama.
