R. Kelly has been arrested by NYPD and Homeland security on charges relating to sex trafficking and child pornography.
The RnB singer/songwriter was arrested on Thursday evening in Chicago and is to be taken to New York.
Although the singer’s representatives have declined to leave a comment on the arrest, but they do plan on holding a press conference on Friday to address the same.
The past many years of Kelly’s career and life have been filled with testimonials of his alleged sexual abuse survivors, who have all detailed his predatory behavior and many shocking instances of sexual misconduct, involving minors.
The singer already faces 11 counts of sexual assault and abuse, which include aggravated sexual abuse of a victim between the age of 13 to 16. The Thursday arrest is expected to unearth more secrets and testimonials from several instances of his alleged “past misconduct”, as the interrogations proceed.
