In an uplifting video going viral on internet, a mother raccoon was spotted refusing to leave her little baby – who seemed to have been stuck in a creek
Shared on Facebook by Wild Charles, the video has received nearly 10K reactions as people can’t help but cheer for the little family. It features the mother raccoon trying to make her way out of the creek, only to stop and turn back to bring her stuck baby back.
She is seen nervously attempting to help her little one climb up the stairs, while another one of her babies – just follows her during the whole ordeal. Failing to grab a hold of the ladder on his own, getting drifted away by the water current, the baby finally reaches for his mama – and as climbs down towards him.
The mother eventually grabs the struggling baby in her mouth and climbs atop the ladder, as the trio finally manage to make their way out.
The video has apparently touched a chord with netizens, who can’t help but admire the universal power of a mother’s love.
We’re just glad, the trio managed to make their way out safely, and also found their 15 minutes of internet fame in the process.
