Cardi B’s 2018 released mega-hit ‘I Like It’ still remains one of her most successful songs till date.
The rapper’s collaboration with Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny and Colombian singer J Balvin, as featured on her debut album, has now been certified 9x platinum by the RIAA, meaning sales of 9 million in the United States alone.
Her breakthrough single, ‘Bodak Yellow’ had also seen similar success, reciving 9x platinum previously – put together with her current sales update, this extends her record as the most certified female rapper in the States.
Cardi’s debut album – ‘Invasion of Privacy’ has certainly set mark pretty high, but with the success of her recent release ‘WAP’ from her yet-to-be-announced sophomore album, it seems likely for her repeat history.
