Mariah Carey’s ‘O Santa’ Fails To Make a Mark on Billboard Charts, Peaks at #76 on This Week’s Tally!

Mariah Carey’s highly ambitious collaboration with vocal powerhouses – Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson, isn’t off to a great star on the charts.

The single, which was basically a revamped version of her original solo, which was featured on her holiday album – ‘Merry Christmas II You’, has re-entered the Billboard Hot 100 charts at #76 this week.

Despite the heavy promotion and the hype, and of coarse the names of fellow divas – Grande and Hudson, attached to it, the song didn’t fare that well on it’s first week on the charts, as it was made exclusively available on only Apple Music, during it’s initial release in the first week of December.

However, it is being estimated that the song might chart higher in the coming week, with it’s availability on other streaming and download platforms.

Either way – Mariah is a winner during Christmas season, as her holiday classic, ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ has topped the Hot 100, once again and sits pretty at #1 during the chart’s latest tally.

Whether or not ‘Oh Santa’ survives, MC remains the queen of Christmas.
