After singing legend Dionne Warwick set eyes on Teyana Taylor as her personal choice to play her in a biopic, rapper Lil Kim has also set eyes on the ‘Wake Up Love’ singer.
Lil Kim was recently spotted saying that she’d want Teyana to play her in a biopic.
In her recent interview with Essence magazine the original ‘Queen Bee’ spoke without enthusiasm about telling her complete her life story, including her childhood out on the streets all the way to her rise to prominence and her ground-breaking entry into the world of music, which established her as one of the most influential female rappers in history.
Although Lil Kim insists that her first choice would be an unknown face, a little girl from ‘the hood’, but she does favor one name from the industry and that is – Teyana Taylor.
“I love Teyana, she’s my only other thought,” Lil Kim was quoted telling the publication. “There’s nobody else in the industry at all but Teyana. But, even before Teyana — I love Teyana, but she’s from Harlem –before Teyana, I would love to give some little girls from Brooklyn a chance so I can connect. Really connect.”

Lil Kim’s life, especially her personal and professional relations with some of Hip-Hop’s greatest icons from the 90’s, would make for one hell of a story.
