The Weeknd’s “Post Plastic Surgery” Look In New Music Video Scares Fans

The Weeknd made use of some scary prosthetics to stimulate a post-plastic-surgery look on his face, for his latest music video.

And it was such a realistic take on it, especially with all the Ken-dolls we’ve seen in the recent years, that it made fans google-search if he had really done it.

The ‘Blinding Lights’ hitmaker pulled the shock-generating look for his new music video for the song ‘Save Your Tears’ earlier this week, which was basically a follow-up to his ‘bandaged face’ look, that he premiered at the American Music Awards in November.

The prosthetic look certainly gave a scare to fans, as they got a glimpse into the horrors of extreme body modifications – which was, perhaps the whole point of this visual experiment by the 30 year old.

The video has been directed by Cliqua and serves as a follow-up to his award-winning chart-topper – ‘Blinding Lights’, the music video for which showed him with facial injuries post an episode of drunk driving.
