A group of whale-watchers had a ‘near-death’ experience, as whale came close to mouthing them down while they sat on top of their kayaks.
The viral video capturing the shocking moment, shows how the whale suddenly jumped out of the water galloping towards the kayak, turning it and all those aboard around.
The shocking clip is from California and the kayaks – Liz Cottriel and Julie McSorley, are said to be fine, after making a narrow-escape.
The nearby kayakers and onlookers weren’t sure what happened, and the immediate sight of the incident made it look like the two had been swallowed down by the sea giant. But shortly thereafter, the women resurfaced on top and were helped to the shore by fellow kayakers.
