It has been 3 months since the untimely passing of Nicki Minaj’s father, Robert Maraj, following a hit-and-run case and the raptress is finally speaking about it.
Reflecting on how tough it still is, Minaj released an official statement on her website calling it one of the most ‘devastating losses’ of her life.
“Tho I can’t really bring myself to discuss the passing of my father as yet; I can say it has been the most devastating loss of my life,” she wrote.
Further adding:
“I find myself wanting to call him all the time. More so now that he’s gone. Life is funny that way. May his soul rest in paradise. He was very loved & will be very missed.”
Minaj’s father died on 13 February 2021, after being hit by a speeding car.
