Despite being the most talked about song of the month, Lizzo and Cardi B’s latest collaboration hasn’t started off on the same note, most ‘mega hits’ these days begin their first week with. A #1 debut.
The song has had an impressive start nonetheless, peaking at #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts in it’s first week.
With it’s high-octane visual and an empowering lyric, the high-profile song has been the talk of the town – which was only amplified with Lizzo’s several messages on body-positivity.
The #1 spot this week is taken up by The Kid LAROI & Justin Bieber’s Stay, which is spending it’s 3rd week at #1 on the charts.
Ed Sheeran sits pretty at #2 with his hit song ‘Bad Habits’, while at #3 is Olivia Rodrigo with ‘Good 4 U”
No doubt, ‘Rumors’ is a certified Top 5 hit, but it would be interesting to see if it goes any higher in the coming weeks, courtesy of further promotions from the duo.
