Iggy Azalea and Nicki Minaj may have long-beefed in public, with the two showing subtle shades at each other, ever since Iggy made her debut in 2011, but the two may be looking at finally being at peace with other.
For the ‘Fancy’ rapper has just now praised Minaj for her latest release ‘Super Freaky Girl’, which marks her return with her first new album in over 4 years.
At the point of writing this, ‘Freaky Girl’ is holding up the top spots in several iTunes charts across the globe, and it has also garnered praise from Iggy.
Taking to her social media handle, the Australian rapper wrote:
“Super Freaky Girl is a really well written song. Like, it’s constructed to be a hit and it’s BIG sounding.”
And love did not go unnoticed by Minaj, who previously – very famously, shaded Azalea for allegedly using ghost-writers.
“Thank you, mama” – Minaj wrote in response to the love from Azalea.
Now considering that Iggy has also come out of her short-lived retirement from music, and is planning to release new music soon – we are curious to see if this mutual love translates into a collaboration of some sort.
