She’s Back! Rihanna Ends 7-Year Musical Hiatus With Theme Song For Black Panther, Ahead Of NEW Album Announcement

It was nearly 7 years ago when Rihanna dropped her critically acclaimed album ‘Anti’, and she has since left fans salivating for her new music and her return to the studio.

Weeks after teasing fans with the forthcoming announcement of her comeback musical project, Riri has dropped the bomb of her return – making her advent with the official theme song for the sequel of Black Panther.

The 34 year old’s comeback song is entitled ‘Lift Me Up’ and will be featured in the upcoming Marvel film – Wakanda Forever.

Riri took to her social media to confirm the news and to tease fans with a snippet of the song which is set to drop this Friday (October 28).

The anticipation and the questions around Rihanna’s next album after ‘Anti’ had become so repetitive that many had actually started to wonder if she’d ever return to music, considering she had pre-occupied herself with her make-up brand ‘Fenty Beauty’, which also helped her achieve the billionaire status.

The near 7-year-itch of Riri fans might soon be coming to end by the end of this year!

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever comes to theaters on 11 November 2022.
