Mary J Blige’s estranged husband, Kendu Isaacs claims he’s been out of work since their separation – which, he alleges, is a direct result of the RnB diva singing songs about their bitter divorce.
According to documents obtained by celebrity gossip column, The Blast, Kendu Isaacs is not happy about Mary J. trashing him in the public, as a result of which he’s unable to get any job since.
Seeking to get an increment in the initial amount of spousal support, Isaac states that he has not been able to find any work for himself after the two parted their ways and Blige released “Love Yourself” and “Set Me Free” – which he claims are now being termed as “divorce songs”, putting his reputation down and “hindering his ability to get a job.”
Earlier in June this year, Blige was ordered by a judge o pay a sum of $30,000 a month in spousal support to Isaacs, to help provide him with the “bare minimum required to sustain his present lifestyle.”
As per the reports published by The Blast, Isaacs is now aiming to get twice as much as he’s currently receiving from the RnB star.
Blige’s very public separation earlier this year, took place when rumors of Kendu having an affair outside of their marriage were also going around. It was reported by few close sources, that Isaacs was seeing none other than, ,one of Mary’s best friends, actress and model Starshell.
