Mariah Carey is a record-setting queen. After making her fans’ dream come true, by achieving her 19th Billboard Hot 100 #1 with ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’, MC has been in news, being celebrated as the undisputed queen of Christmas.
But as the season comes to an end, the X-mas classic from the diva – which also became the first #1 of this new decade, has plummeted out of the Billboard Hot 100 charts – straight down from #1.
And that itself is a record in its own way.
Billboard announced that the singer’s fall from #1 is the first time in the history of charts, that a chart-topper has gone straight out of the top 100 tally.
Nevertheless, Mariah Carey has had all the reasons to laugh her way to the bank already.
