A heartbreaking video shook-up internet earlier this week, yet again highlighting the severe impact of bullying on kids.
Yarraka Bayles shared the viral image of her 9 year old son, while he had a major emotional outburst after being severally bullied by his school-mates.
What was horrifying about the clip was to hear words like ‘I want to stab myself in the heart’ and ‘give me a rope, I want to kill myself’ – come out of the mouth of a 9 year old, traumatised by the constant teasing at school.
Quaden – who suffers from a form of dwarfism, is often made fun-of for his physical features and height, which was witnessed first-hand by his mother, when she arrived to pick him from school.
“I’ve just picked up my son from school, witnessed a bullying episode, rang the principal and I want people to know – parents, educators, teachers – this is the effect that bullying has.” – his mum says in the clip.
The video has garnered tons of supporters for the little one, who have all come out with kind words for this beautiful fighter.
Time for some more stringent actions to curb cases of bullying in schools and colleges.
