Chloe X Halle got the ultimate recognition during the recent Billboard Awards ceremony, receiving a trophy from none other than their musical mentor – Beyonce.
The duo were awarded Billboard’s ‘Rising Star Award’, which was presented to them by the ‘Hold Up’ singer and performer.
The 15th annual Billboard Women in Music virtual event also saw names like Jennifer Lopez and Cardi B being honoured for their impact in Popular music, but it was this moment of Queen Bey showing motherly pride for the vocal duo, that made all of us go – ‘awwww.’
