Snoop Dogg Criticizes Cardi B’s ‘WAP’, Offset Responds…

After CeeLo Green criticized Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s WAP, around the time of the song’s release – earlier this year, for ‘over-sexualisation’ of females in the rap-game, fellow MC Snoop Dogg has also joined the wagon.

The ‘Ain’t No Fun’ hitmaker sat down for an interview with Julissa Bermudez, and dished on a number of subjects including the controversies revolving around this gigantic worldwide hit by Cardi.

The rapper stated that he feels a woman’s private part should not be exposed in a lyric like that and should by cherished by those who get to see it in privacy.

Wait… so what does he think about porn, in general?

Nevertheless, Snoop – himself has made a number of songs in the past talking sex and sexualising women. So the irony of this criticism, didn’t go unnoticed by people online – including Cardi’s husband, Offset.

Offset was spotted speaking on the criticism, stating that first of all – men shouldn’t be telling women what to do. The MIGOS rapper also highlighted how male rappers always get away by talking about women’s private parts or their own, yet female rappers are put under the spotlight over the same.

He further stated that it should not be looked as anything more than entertainment, while maintaining that he also loves and respect Snoop.

Interesting.
