Talk show queen Ellen DeGeneres has tested positive for Covid-19.
The 62 year old, whose day-time talk show kick-started a new season a few weeks ago, has contracted the virus, as confirmed by DeGeneres herself.
Her diagnosis has led her to take a pause from work and concentrate on her recovery, apart from sending an alarm to those – who appeared on her show recently, which included the likes of – Diane Keaton, Justin Bieber, Alison Brie and Lil Nas X.
Here’s what she said on her social media announcement of her diagnosis:
Hi Everyone, I want to let you all know that I tested positive for Covid-19. Fortunately, I’m feeling fine right now. Anyone who has been in close contact with me has been notified, and I am following all proper CDC guidelines. I’ll see you all again after the holidays. Please stay healthy and safe.
