Chadwick Boseman’s passing was one of the saddest things that 2020 brought along, with all it’s other madness.
The 43 year old star of MCU’s ‘Black Panther’ had become a renowned face internationally, with his starring roles in the Marvel Franchise’s latest offerings.
But it all came to an abrupt and unexpected end, as he passed away earlier in August 2020, after a long battle with cancer.
Boseman’s wife, Simone Ledward, who’s remained away from the public spotlight ever since her husband’s passing, finally broke her silence coming forth to accept an honorary award on his behalf.
Ledward was filled with tears and emotions as she accepted the trophy, given to the late actor in his memory.
“It’s an honor to receive this award on behalf of my husband,” she stated. “It’s an acknowledgment of not only his profound work but of his impact on this industry and this world.”
