Brandy Gets Emotional While Rewatching Footage Of Whitney Houston From Cinderella Shoot

Brandy and Whitney Houston’s Cinderella is finally being introduced to a newer generation of Disney lovers, thanks to the network deciding to make the movie available on their Disney+ platform.

Starting from 11th February midnight, the film is now available for viewing officially – after more than 24 years since it’s historic television premiere.

Reflecting back on her memories from the film’s shoot and Whitney Houston’s decision to “pick her” as the multi-racial version’s leading lady, Brandy recently spoke with Entertainment Tonight and expressed her gratitude towards her icon.

She also fought back tears midway the interview, as she was confronted with a footage from the film’s shoot – in which Whitney Houston was seen and heard speaking fondly of the then budding singer.

Brandy also shared how one of her last conversations with Whitney lasted for a couple of hours, in which she left her with the message about always staying true to herself. Something, she says, she carries to this day.
