Disney is celebrating the long string of princesses and princess-stories it has served to generations of young and young-at-heart girls.
The entity has put a new franchise to honor some of the most prominent princessly characters, particularly from the 90’s. And leading that celebration from a musical standpoint is – RnB superstar – Brandy, who famously portrayed Cinderella, in the 1997 made-for-television adaptation of the classic.
Brandy has lent her glorious pipes to the official theme song of Disney’s Princess celebration, entitled ‘Starting Now’, and recently performed the same as Disney celebrates ‘world princess week’ at Disneyland Resort.
An ecstatic Brandy earlier took to her Instagram to share her excitement over the performance:
“Who performs at Disneyland in front of a castle that I’ve loved since I was a young girl. Wow. So grateful.”
