Clive Davis Postpones Pre-Grammy Party After Bell’s Palsy Diagnosis, People Wonder Why He Didn’t Do It When Whitney Houston Died

Remember when back 2012 Clive Davis made the decision to continue with his Pre-Grammy party, only hours after the world was stunned by the sudden passing of one of music’s greatest legends – Whitney Houston?

People are once again bringing up the subject after all these years, as the music mogul has been diagnosed with Bells Palsy following which he has decided to postpone his pre-Grammy musical celebration for the year.

Interestingly, Clive was at the receiving end of some criticism from fans back in February 12, 2012, as Houston was found dead at the Beverly Hilton hotel shortly before she was scheduled to arrive at her mentor and godfather’s highly-anticipated annual event, yet the Pre-Grammy function continued as is, in the same hotel.

And it seems to be coming back to haunt him, as the 88 year old is struck with a medical condition now, forcing him to postpone the event.

The evident irony of the situation is apparently not lost on people, as they’ve left the following reactions on social media:

Although there’s no doubt in our minds that Clive Davis has been at the front and center when it comes to ensuring Whitney’s legacy is remembered and celebrated, but that one decision from 2012 is something that keeps on coming back to haunt him.
