Gladys Knight recently took the NBA All-Star Game 2021 stage to deliver a powerful rendition of the American National Anthem, and boy, she did not disappoint.
The 76 year old performer, who’s been singing her heart out for over 5 decades now, still continues to showcase astonishing control and power in her voice – and her vocal longevity perhaps eclipses all other Soul divas of her time.
This performance was no difference.
And it was even more breath-taking, not only because of her age, but also because the ‘Star Spangled Banner’ is one of the most difficult songs to sing, and Ms. Knight totally made it her own, yet again.
