Beyonce Celebrates 5 Years Of ‘Lemonade’ – ‘One Of My Favorite Pieces Of Art’

Beyonce’s Billboard chart-topping visual album ‘Lemonade’ turned 5 earlier this week and the singer took to her social media to celebrate the moment.

The 2016 released critically acclaimed album, which was also nominated for the ‘Album Of The Year’ Grammy (and famously lost to Adele’s ’21’), has often been called one of her most artistic releases to ever hit the shelves.

Lemonade was also a deeply personal album for the singer/songwriter as she delved into subjects pertaining to the birth of her first child and the up’s and down’s of her relationship with husband Jay Z.

Reflecting back at the monumental piece of work, Beyonce was full of gratitude as she stated:

“I’m grateful that this body of work has resonated so deeply with so many people. I’m so thankful for all the beautiful souls involved in making one of my favorite pieces of art.”

She further added:

“As I celebrate five years of LEMONADE, I encourage everyone to continue healing, loving, forgiving and uplifting.

I hope you find joy today.”

Is “Lemonade” the best Beyonce album ever?

Have your say…
