DJ, record-producer and rapper, Funkmaster gave in his two cents on Cardi B’s abilities as a rapper and it did not go down well with the star’s fans.
Funkmaster, who’s never really shied away from expressing his unconventional opinions on music, called Cardi a ‘terrible rapper’, while praising her overall swag and entertainment value.
Here’s what he was quoted telling during his recent appearance on the “Cigar Talk” podcast:
“I do think Cardi B’s a terrible rapper. I just do, man,” he said. “She’s an amazing entertainer. I love her on social media. I love the way she talks about a subject. I like her whole swag. I like everything…[but] she’s a terrible rapper, man.”
Well, needless to say, as soon as the interview came to public, Cardi’s fans were quick to drag the 52 year old for his opinions on the ‘Bodack Yellow’ hitmaker.
