The Jennifer Hudson show premiered on the special occasion of the EGOT winner’s 41st birthday, and it was clearly an overwhelming moment for the singer.
Greeted by an overzealous audience in her plush and stylish new studio, Jhud – who has remarkably come a long way from her days as an American Idol alumni, couldn’t hold back her emotions.
Dressed in bright pink, an emotional JHud wiped away her tears as she cheered along with her audience, celebrating another feather being added to her already coveted hat.

It has indeed been a remarkable journey for Jennifer Hudson. And the past 2 years alone have seen her adding many new achievements to her resume – including a critically acclaimed role in the Aretha Franklin biopic ‘Respect’ and her name being added in history books as an EGOT winner.
The new talk-show is now one of the many adjectives associated with the talent.
