Whitney Houston’s iconic The Bodyguard soundtrack album, still ranks as not only the best-selling soundtrack album of all time, but also the biggest selling album by a female artist, bar none.

The 1992 released record, which produced some of the most iconic songs off the singer’s illustrious catalog, also won the ‘Album Of The Year’ Grammy in the year 1994 – making it one of the rare occasions a black female in music took home the honor.

Out of 12 tracks featured on the album, 6 were recorded by Whitney, and they basically constituted what captured global attention towards the best-selling LP back then. So our focus today remains on only the Whitney Houston songs off the album, which served as the soundtrack to her first-role as a motion picture actress.

It is safe to say that her monumental recording of ‘I Will Always Love You’ remains the most popular tune not just from the LP, but also in all of her discography, serving as her undisputed signature ballad – that has become a staple in Pop culture.

But the soundtrack also boasted off some other fantastic recordings, that achieved iconic status over the years – including two Oscar-nominated songs – ‘I Have Nothing’ and ‘Run To You’.

But which particular song would you say is your personal favorite out of the 6 songs Houston recorded for the album?

Time for you to cast your vote in our latest poll, and help us constitute a ranking of the most-loved songs from the legendary album.
