I Wanna Dance With Somebody Soundtrack: New Whitney Houston Album Features Unreleased Music

RCA records have dropped the highly anticipated soundtrack album of the late Whitney Houston’s upcoming biopic – I Wanna Dance With Somebody.

The album went live on streaming platforms on 16th December, ahead of the 23rd December worldwide release of the film.



The 35 track album features new and old tracks of Houston, including a few remixes and reimagined versions of her well known classics.

Serving as the soundtrack to the Kasi Lemmons directed film, which sees Naomi Ackie essaying the role of the superstar for the big-screen, the album also features a previously unreleased recording from the late 80’s circa, entitled – Far Enough.

 

The album also features different versions of her 1994 live performance of the Gospel song – Don’t Cry For Me, including a sensation reimagining done by the diva’s past collaborator – Darkchild.
