Rolling Stone published a revamped version of their 200 Greatest Singers list earlier this week.
Beginning the year by stirring the pot, the popular publication raised several eyebrows for some of their selections and omissions, the highlight of which was the absence of Pop and Adult Contemporary diva Celine Dion from the entire list.
The Canadian songstress who has been highly regarded for her flawless, perfected and clean vocals was entirely kept off of the list, which apparently did go down well with the ardent fans of the singer.
After an intense backlash on social media, Dion fans took it to the streets to protest against the Stone publication standing with placards outside their headquarters.

Expressing their frustration, Dion fans were seen hurling slogans and flashing their placard, facing the cold – all for the love of their favorite diva.
It was Pop culture mania at it’s finest.
Funnily enough, even Rolling Stone itself went on to cover the news:

2023 is already promising to be an animated year.
