Nick Carter’s sister Bobbie Jean (BJ Carter) has passed away at the age of 41.
It was only over a little over a year ago, the Backstreet Boys singer faced the demise of his younger brother Aaron Carter – who succumbed to his years-long battle with substance abuse and mental health issues.
In a rather short span, yet another tragedy has struck the 43 year old.
The news was confirmed by Carter family matriarch – Jane, who stated:
“I am in shock from learning of the sudden death of my daughter, Bobbie Jean; and I will need time to process the terrible reality of this happening for the third time. When I am able to think clearly, I’ll release a fuller statement; but until then I would request to be left to grieve in private.”
The cause of death has not been shared yet by the family.
This is the third sibling of Nick Carter who has passed away in the last few years, as his other sister – Leslie Carter also passed away in the year 2012.
The family was also notably seen in the reality show – ‘House of Carters.’
