A Tearful Tiffany Haddish Says Racism Is Making Her Have Second Thoughts About Having Children

Tiffany Haddish recently shared on her thoughts on the ongoing racial tensions in the country and how that is affecting her decision to step into the world of motherhood.

The ‘Girls Trip’ star appeared on an online interview with Carmelo Anthony for his YouTube series, ‘What’s In Your Glass’ and reflected on the state of the world and society, especially in regards to the racial crimes against black people.

“I’m a little older now and people are always asking when I’m gonna have some babies,” the comedian said.

“There’s a part of me that would like to do that, and I always make up these excuses like, ‘Oh, I need a million dollars in the bank before I do that, I need this, I need that.’ But really, it’s that I would hate to give birth to someone that looks like me … Knowing that they’re gonna be hunted or killed. Like, why would I put someone through that?.”

Haddish couldn’t hold back her tears while reflecting on the same.

As perplexing as the notion might seem upon first hearing, one can totally understand the fear a mother would have in the incredibly tensed and racially charged times that we will in right now.

That is also where Tiffany’s fear stems from.
