Although Jennifer Lopez had already nailed her role as Selena Quintanilla in her breakthrough performance as the singer, in her biopic – back in the 90’s, Netflix is bringing the late singer’s life to celluloid once again.
The late Tejano singer is being celebrated through a new series launched in Netflix, which features “The Walking Dead” star Christian Serratos, attempting to walk (and dance) in the shoes of Selena, in reel-life.
Referred to as the Queen of Tejano Music, Selena was murdered at the tender age of just 23, when she was at the height of her international music career.
The series attempt to tell the complete tale, from her early days to her rise to prominence and the heart-wrenching end to it all.
